About myself

I received my training as a Psychotherapist at the NHS Tavistock Clinic in London.

I am a registered member of the British Psychoanalytic Council and the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists.

I have several years experience of working as a Psychotherapist within the NHS seeing patients at St. Bartholomew’s and Homerton Hospitals in London and more briefly at the Tavistock Clinic.

Until recently I was an Honorary Psychotherapist at the Liaison Psychiatry unit of Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge where I worked with patients with unexplained medical symptoms. I am now concentrating on my own private practice.

I trained as a psychotherapist after many years of working as a Social Anthropologist with a book and several articles in peer-review journals in my name. Alongside Psychotherapy, I continue my interest in Social Anthropology and am a Life Member of Clare Hall College, Cambridge University.
